Foreign exchange students must have their own health insurance.
The university provides student health services, where foreign exchange students may access the various medical, dental and mental health care services.
Foreign students must pay the costs in the student health service located in San Joaquin campus, 3rd floor, and then request for reimbursement of expenses from the international health insurance company purchased before coming to our institution.

To receive urgent care at UC Hospital (Marcoleta 367), the student must present his UC identification card and sign a document called Plan Complementario (Additional Plan).
The hospital will charge the student health service for the care expenses.
The student must deal with the health care expenses directly at the student health service within the next five working days after the urgent care was received.
